Company History

AFS is a proudly owned South African company that was established by in 2014. Having worked in the flour milling and baking industry for many years, the owner, Andre Diedrick, developed a passion for baking and for providing solutions to the baking industry. He was employed as a Food Technologist/Tech sales at Nestle, Tiger Milling, General Mills, Tongaat Hulett Suger and most recently 8 years at Novozymes, who are leaders in Biotechnology. While employed at Novozymes, Andre gained experience working with mills and bakeries, with many customers in many countries in Africa. It was during this time that he identified that there is a need for a local African company to provide cost effective solutions and personalized service to the flour mills and bakeries. Hence, AFS was born. Our goal is to be leaders in Africa first and then take our business Global.

What the Company Does

AFS develops and supplies flour/bread improvers and premixes. This is backed up with sound technical service offering. Additionally, we offer complete flour analysis, training and ingredient sourcing where requested. Partnering with out clients is key to a mutually beneficial business relationship
